Tythe house is a beautiful English country home set amongst the chalk downs of Ovingdean, East Sussex, England.
An historic Grade II listed barn built in the 17th Century and worked by local monks, Tythe House was structurally modernised in the early 1950's and beautifully restored with a high degree of luxury, elegant interior designed bedrooms and reception rooms more recently.
Tythe House would not be out out of place with Agatha Christie penning a mystery for Poirot to solve, or Hemmingway retreating after some foreign adventure.
It has great charm and elegance. The House gives rise to great opportunities for period filming and the subtly modern interior giving rise to wonderful editorial shoot possibilities. It lends itself to exclusive and private meeetings and functions and offers outstanding quality and service in all sectors.
Tythe House accomodates 6-12 people on its inhouse courses and business functions, and for its exclusive weddings and events can accomodate 30-50 guests.
The very best in cuisine is served for all events.
