Tythe House offers the film and TV industry a great base for period or modern filming and excellent editorial possibilities for interior design and kitchen design and utensils. Situated just outside Brighton and close to historic Rottingdean on the South Downs, the house offers a wide range of possibilities for film and TV location shooting.

The modern art and design look is effective for the design and retail client.

Full catering and accomodation for cast and crew is offered. Parking is available outside the property.

Location Details

Two sitting rooms and a dining room; the down stairs sitting room is approximately 20’ by 12’, the upstairs attic/sitting room is approximately 30’ x 14’.
Parking outside for two lorries. Other parking available by arrangement.
A good pub within walking distance or catering from the professional Tythe House chef. Larger catering needs also offered with JWA Events.
Accomodation for smaller shoots (three rooms) or arrangements made with our affiliate hotels nearby for larger accomodation requests.
London is approximately 60 miles distance. Travel time around 1hr 20 mins depending on traffic, less in quiet times. Nearest large town is Brighton which is 5 minutes away by car!! Newhaven Port running Deippe ferry service only twenty minutes away. Good road and rail networks. Shoreham airport on twenty minutes away. Gatwick International Airport only 1hr drive away.
Ovingdean beach 5mins away along the road and accessed on foot by an underpass. Possible off-road parking for vehicles near underpass.
Onsite storage cellar.
Three bathrooms.
Stunning, quaint 11th Century church two doors up from Tythe House for possible thriller or vintage drama filming opportunities.
